Capabilities

WEIGHING DEVICES

We service and calibrate scales and balances from 200g to 120,000 lb truck scales. Our technicians are licensed by both North and South Carolina State Departments of Weights and Measures. We provide Accredited or Commercial calibration to NIST Handbook 44 requirements or your unique procedure.

Our service truck carries our 1,000 pound weights to your location.

All our weights are certified by the North Carolina Standards Laboratory and are traceable to NIST. We use ASTM E617 Class I weights for small capacity and NIST Hdbk 105 Class F for all others.

Accredited to 120,000 pounds. We provide weights, slings and weight trees, you supply the forklift.

Measurement uncertainties are reported when requested in accordance with NIST Technical Note 1297. Calibration reports provided in accredited format, commercial format or your format.

OTHER MEASUREMENT DEVICES

As an accredited calibration lab, we maintain all our standards traceable to NIST through our accredited suppliers. We constantly look to expand or improve our capabilities and uncertainties.

Our technicians have years of calibration and metrology experience in automotive and commercial manufacturing environments.

We bring our equipment to your facility and work with your schedule to get to the items to minimize your downtime. In many cases, we can check your equipment while your process runs.

Where possible, we make the adjustments and repairs to your equipment to keep them within tolerance and operational.

Measurement uncertainties are reported on certifications based on your requirements.

Our procedures are based on military, manufacturer, commercial, industry or your standards.

Calipers, Micrometers (Depth, ID and OD), Height Gages, Rulers, Tapes, Totalizers (yards, feet, etc.), Dial and Test Indicators, Length standards, 1-2-3 Blocks, Sine Bars, Parallels, Optical Comparators, Plug and Pin Gages.
Temperature/Humidity
Liquid in glass thermometers, Bi-metal stem, Digital thermometers (including probes), Chart recorders, Digital controllers, Non-contact IR Thermometers, Hygrometers (sling and electronic).
Pressure
Vacuum, Air and Hydraulic.
Other
Tachometers (mechanical, digital, contact or non-contact), Stroboscopes, Torque Wrenches, Force Gages (tension/compression), Hardness testers, Durometers, Timers and Stopwatches, Weights, Scales and Balances.
